BGT is probably the cleanest parks I have visited. The one exception to that would be the bathrooms, they could have used some help. The shows were great. We went to the critter and ice shows. The critter one was my favorite. The mobile app is nice, but the map isn't updated and has some routes on it that no longer exist, which is too bad since they would have saved us some walking. One note for those purchasing tickets.
Theme park deals for Floridians at Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, Legoland, Busch Gardens
We got a AAA membership to buy our tickets as it saved us more than enough on each ticket to pay for the annual membership we purchased 5 tickets. Also, we purchased a one day ticket which includes a second day with a meal ticket. Busch Gardens was a really nice surprise! The grounds were beautiful, the animal exhibits were among the best and least smelly I've ever seen, and the rides were exilerating!
If you are there for the roller coasters, I'd strongly recommend upgrading to a "quick queue" pass which is the Busch Garden's "Fast Pass". We like to ride the coasters and some of the lines were minutes long but we waited less than 10 minutes. It was an average day in terms of attendance. The All Day Dining Deal is another option which allows you to eat - up to 3 items - at 6 of the restaurants on site. The food was very good - even had healthy choices - like salads and veggies - and you also got half off on the other food vendors popcorn, etc. We're not big eaters so not so sure that was worth it??
If you go on the rides, take cash so that you can put your "loose items" in a locker prior to riding the rides. Lockers cost 50 cents and we had to get one before each ride as they were so far away from one another. Better yet - don't have any loose items. Wear something with zippered pockets. All the roller coasters were fun! And we've done our share. Little kids also had a number of options as far as rides went and the shows were all pretty good -Let's Dance was like watching Dancing with the stars, Iceploration was fun, and Let's Get Loud was OK. All were half and hour or less.
Did LOTS of walking so wear comfortable shoes and have fun! Overall, Busch Gardens was a great experience - more "organic" than the spit and polish of Disney. We love both but nice change of pace. I like Busch Gardens- it's nice to be able to see a lot of animals and also go on rides on the same day. Yes, everything here is expensive. For the first time, I tried buying in advance the all day dining option and I would do that again, it seemed cheaper.
I'm gonna make this review short. First the park is laid out really wierd. You can't really go by the map. It is very confusing. It just takes time to figure it all out. The animal attractions are great. Do not miss the Critter Show. Not as enthused with Iceploration, but it was okay. My family and I rode almost every ride. Ones I wouldn't do again would be the train. Boring and not like Disney which is a real means of transportatioin around the park. It wasn't helpful. As for the coasters, I rate them like this: 1. Montu- best coaster, so smooth with many inversions. Never a line here and I'm not sure why.
Sheikra- scary but short 3. Cheetahunt- although a lengthy ride, not as exciting as I thought.

Gwazi will shake your teeth out Not a fan of the woodys I thought the park was clean and the food was generally good. Although the animals looked well taken care of, I did feel a bit sorry for them having to listen to that annoying music all day. I think they are probably a bit numb from it.
